Bustling Morning Maharaj Market in Krabi Town
The market starts up early in the morning. The newly renovated Maharaj Market is nicely organized and despite its heavy traffic, the market is clean and easy to navigate. There are sections for fruit, vegetables, fishes, meats, dry food stuffs, and a huge breakfast pre-made food area.
Tiger Cave Temple
Aside from being the site of a meditation center, it is also a place of archaeological and historical interest. Stone tools, pottery remains, and the mold for making Buddha footprints have been found in excavations. The main tourist attraction in the temple complex is the 1,272 steps climb up a limestone tower to see the "footprint of the Buddha".
Giant Black Crab Statue
A very recent addition to the sightseeing attractions of Krabi Town. The giant Crab Monument sits along the Krabi River banks. One more attraction around here is Khao Khanap Nam, two little hills, about 100 meters high, flank the Krabi River in the heart of town, the natural gateway of Krabi. lnside Khao Khanap Nam are several magnificent caves with impressive clusters of stalactites and stalagmites. We will stop for taking the photos with Mangrove forest scenery.
Wat Kaew Korawaram
This Buddhist temple nestled on a hill above downtown Krabi is noted for its all-white color, which is a bit uncommon for Thai temples. The temple, said to be one of the largest in Krabi, can be reached through an entrance off one of the city’s main streets.
Ao Nam Mao Outdoor Aquarium
